Kienböck's disease - Etiology, diagnosis and treatment options

Kienböck's disease is also known as avascular bone necrosis or lunate osteomalacia. It is characterized as a progressive and debilitating condition leading to chronic pain and loss of wrist mobility. Its etiology is believed to be multifactorial. However, its possible causes remain a matter of study and controversy. The aim of this book is to conduct a literature review of Kienböck's disease, discuss possible causes, diagnostic methods and treatment options.
