About the author










Hemali Dassani is a senior fundraiser and consultant to multiple private equity funds. She has two decades of experience raising capital for alternative asset managers, building strong relationships with some of the largest pension funds, E&Fs, insurance companies, family offices, and FoFs. She served as Director of Investor Relations and Chief Compliance Officer at Argand Partners and Director of Investor Relations at Castle Harlan, where she managed a $1 billion fundraising effort. Additionally, she has worked as a placement agent for various firms including CapLink Securities.
Nandu Kuppuswamy, CFA, is an investment management professional with expertise as both an asset allocator and as a fundraiser. He is currently the COO and Partner at 3Lines Venture Capital. Previously, he has managed investor relations and fundraising for Sandstone Capital (hedge fund), Kotak Mahindra Inc.(multi-asset), and Zodius (growth PE). He is also the founder of Ambrosian Sun Advisors, an advisory firm that serves alternative asset managers. His career and professional experience span investor relations, fundraising, asset allocation, due diligence operations, analytics, research, and strategy.
