Green is professor of history at the Community College of Southern Nevada. He is the editor (with Gary E. Elliott) of Nevada: Readings and Perspectives! the author of Nevada: A Journey of Discovery! editor in chief of the Nevada Historical Society Quarterly! and has published a number of articles on Western history.
