About the author

Reinhard Stelter, PhD in psychology and Master in Sport Science. Associate Professor at the Institute of Exercise and Sport Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, and Head of the Department of Physical Education, Pedagogy and Psychology. Dr Stelter is president of the Danish Forum of Sport Psychology, member of the Managing Council of FEPSAC, the European Federation of Sport Psychology. He has been the president of the 11th European Congress of Sport Psychology in Copenhagen in July 2003 and is Co-editor of the Danish Journal "Sport & Psyke". Kirsten Kaya Roessler, PhD in psychology, MSc of Psychology and Master in Sport Science. Dr Roessler is a researcher at the Research Institute of Sport, Culture and Civil Society in Gerlev, Denmark. She is a former lecturer in sport and health psychology at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense. Member of the Danish Sport Research Council. Member of the Danish Forum of Sport Psychology and Co-editor of the Danish Journal "Sport & Psyke".
