About the author

Dimitri Kastritsis is the author of The Sons of Bayezid: Empire Building and Representation in the Ottoman Civil War of 1402–1413 and editor of An Early Ottoman History: The Oxford Anonymous Chronicle. He is Associate Librarian for Global Studies and Development at the University of Virginia.Anna Stavrakopoulou is Associate Professor of Theater Studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.Angus Stewart is Lecturer in Medieval and Middle Eastern History at the University of St Andrews.
