Technology Solutions for Smart Cities

The term "Smart City" refers to the use of new technologies to improve the quality of life and services of a city, as well as to convert it into a more sustainable space. All of this has been developed according to the economic, social and environmental needs of the present and the future. It is a cross-cutting sector that impacts on axes as diverse as homes, university and school campuses, energy, water, transportation, waste management, and administrative and health services. Smart cities help mitigate resource depletion, global warming, population explosion, urban concentration and changes in the world's major economic balances.
