About the author

Ken Bokelius made his first contact with Japanese martial arts (budo) in the late 70's and has been practicing karate since the early 80's. He is still an active student of Tamas Weber, the founder of Sanshin Kan Karate.

Together with his wife and their adult children, Ken runs one of the largest karate clubs in Stockholm.

Although Ken has over the years, both in Sweden and internationally, instructed in clubs, trained competitors, participated in tournaments and organized camps, he sees himself primarily as a student in karate and has never stopped learning and developing.
