He was a Mental Health Commissioner for a number of years, and he has given evidence to the Scrutiny Committees on the draft Mental Incapacity Bill and the draft Mental Health Bill. Nick Brindle is a retired consultant old age psychiatrist at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, UK. He runs the Section 12 and Approved Clinician training courses.
