Early Ottoman Art: The Legacy of the Emirates presents the artistic and architectural expressions in Western Anatolia and the emergence of the Ottoman dynasty in the 14th and 15th centuries. The Turkish Emirates developed a new stylistic synthesis by blending the Central Asian and Seljuq traditions and the legacy of the Greek, Roman and Byzantine past.
