However and whatever condition our surroundings are in, it is our condition on the inside.When we cannot change on the inside, it is time to change on the outside.When we cannot change on the outside, it is time to change on the inside.Right concentration and right knowledge are meaningless if they are not applied in the correction of the state of things in the world, and when this is not done with right intention, right action and right means, concentration and knowledge become ways of perdition and all those beings who act in this way go against the Sacred Dharma and are its real and true enemies, there is a constant flow between the inside of thought and the outside of matter, like the high tide and the low tide. At one moment the right action must be taken from within, and at the next from without; it is always the same Force that acts, but it presents itself in two clearly differentiated aspects. All those who do not know the methods of concentration and meditation, lack the total resources to cause changes from the inner to the outer.
