About the author

Wolfgang Moritz is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Munich. He has contributed extensively to the theory and practice of both LEED and SXRD.Michel A. Van Hove is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physics at Hong Kong Baptist University. He has contributed extensively to the theory and practice of LEED, photoelectron diffraction and other techniques of surface science.
