Informationen zum Autor Kimberly is the author of three children’s books. She gained a degree in Creative Writing with English Literature in 2010 and a master's in Management and Entrepreneurship in 2019. She has run two creative projects which includes The Gentlemen Press which resulted in an anthology written by young people aged 13-21 years old. She is based in Birmingham and is currently working on her fashion brand called Owlfire. Markia Jenai is an African American illustrator from Detroit, MI. She works in the realm of historical fiction and non-fiction. Markia has illustrated artwork for middle-grade chapter books such as Lena and the Burning of Greenwood , the board book The Story of Juneteenth and the graphic novel It’s Her Story: Josephine Baker.
