About the author

Bright Little Labs' founder Sophie Deen's awards include the Barclays Start-Up Founder of the Year 2017, British Interactive Media Association Innovator 2017 and Computer Weekly's "Most Influential Women in UK IT" 2017. Sophie worked at Code Club, alongside Google and the Department for Education, to help introduce the new coding curriculum in primary schools. She then worked on their international strategy in over 80 countries. Sophie believes wholeheartedly in the power of creativity, toilet humour and stories to inspire the next generation.Priyanka Sachdev is an illustrator and visual storyteller based in Pune, India. Not limited by style, she is an illustrator with a love for pen and paper along with working in the world of vector graphics as well. Originally a Textile Design Graduate, she studied Illustration at London College of Communication, and since has been the core of the Quirk Box Design Studio, a multi disciplinary art-based design studio in Pune. Her personal work is heavily influenced by magical characters and stories from Indian Mythology and she hopes to bring these stories to a global stage to share them with the world.
