Evaluation of the morphobiometric characteristics of the mixed race horse in Senegal

The horse (Equus caballus) occupies a place of choice in the socio-economic sectors and cultures of Senegal. It is for these reasons that the Senegalese state grants a particular interest to this species which is the horse, by directing its policy of development of the equine sector towards genetic improvement since the 1960s. The present study was carried out with the objective of making the morphobiometric characterization of the crossbred horses resulting from the crossing between the local races and the exotic races in Senegal.
