About the author

Alexa Kambouropoulos is a registered psychologist with over 25 years of experience within the tertiary education and previously in the adult mental health sector. She received her PhD in 2008 from Monash University and is a senior lecturer in the School of Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy at The Cairnmillar Institute.
Connie Harris is a psychologist and has a background as a registered nurse and experience in social welfare. Connie has completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Monash and Deakin Universities. She is currently working in private practice.
