Through this study, conducted within the framework of the European survey "BIOHEAD-Citizen", we sought to identify the representations that Gabonese teachers and future teachers have of health education and the implicit values that they induce. We wondered what they consider to be the goals of health education, who the main actors should be and what the challenges are. We were also interested in the representations of these teachers and future teachers on the genetic determinism of phenotype. Our objective was to see if these representations correspond or are close to the paradigm in force in the scientific community, namely the notion of epigenetics. The representations of the teachers and future teachers in our sample were related to their teaching discipline, their level of training and whether or not they practiced a religion. The results were obtained by means of Implicative Statistical Analysis (ISA).
