Elle entre au journal ¿Milliyet¿ en 1999, pendant ses études universitaire à Galatasaray où elle obtient aussi le diplôme de master par sa recherche sur la presse minoritaire. Doctorante à l¿université de Strasbourg, journaliste se spécialise dans les sujets traitant ¿la vie à Istanbul¿ et les grands reportages.
