About the author

Mindy Chen-Wishart is Dean and Professor of the Law of Contract in the Law Faculty at Oxford University, a Fellow of Merton College, Oxford and (fractional) Professor of Law at the National University of Singapore. Previously she was a senior lecturer at Otago University, New Zealand, and Rhodes Research Fellow at St Hilda's College, Oxford. She has held Visiting Professorships in Germany, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She writes in Contract Law, Asian Contract Laws, and Contract Theory, and is one of the editors of Chitty on Contracts.
