Author Nicholas Roberts tackles a range of complex topics, including grief, politics, the pandemic, mental health, nature, addiction, the climate crisis, socioeconomic disparity, and much more. He tries to take an honest look at what it means to exist in a dishonest world, and how we can better impact the future. Whether you love poetry or not, this book will make you think.

About the author

Nicholas Roberts is a nomad currently living in Vermont. His life experiences reflect heavily throughout his poems and writing. The loss of his father, various addictions, and learning to live with bipolar disorder are just a few of the difficulties discussed within. He has also come to know the joys of redemption and self worth, and the satisfaction of dealing with life on life's terms. Growing up on Connecticut's Long Island Sound, Nick has enjoyed a varied life, ranging from privilege to homelessness. These days, Nick plays piano in a few bands, and sells his artwork. You can often find him deep in the woods, with a canvas and easel, or pen and paper, taking in all that life has to offer.
