In general the customers perceive the most reliable high quality product with low cost. To satisfy the needs of the customer, the manufacturing industries are being forced to continuously optimize their process parameters. The most important metals joining process in production industries is MIG. The wrong selection of MIG process parameter increases the large power, material consumption, man power. It also leads to increase the cost of the product and decreasing the weld quality. The project work is part of the program for the development of Austenite steels to increase mechanical properties and minimization of metallurgical defects to increasing good element. The quality of MIG process mainly influenced by independent variables such as welding current, speed of electrode and electrode stick out. The prediction process involved in MIG is very complex. By using the Destructive Test we will be analyzing the quality the element as well as welding morphology. In the project we will be made many attempts for test pieces to predict the process parameter of MIG for getting minimum heat affected zone.
