This is about identifying and documenting the medicinal plants used by indigenous people in the region used to treat human and livestock ailments at which declining of medicinal plants biomass, inconsistent medicinal plant knowledge transfer among civic societies resulting from secretly keeping of medicinal plants and its knowledge by traditional herbals are the central problem of the study area. Therefore, to meet the stated objectives by answering the listed research question derived from central problem of the study area sequential exploratory mixed type of research approach was use. Moreover, to make sure of getting reliable and valued data both primary and secondary data were collected through semi structure interview questions, focus group discussion & filed observation and structured questioners from traditional medicinal practitioners and non-traditional medicinal practitioners respectively.In this study for Ethno medicinal use 35 families represented by 50 plant species were collected and documented. Of these 50% grow in wild, 30% in home garden, 14% in farm lands and 6% grow as live fences. From these medicinal plant species 34% were herbs and dominantly found.
