About the author

William Seagrim is a Senior Lecturer at Swansea University, Swansea, and a barrister at 9 Park Place Chambers, Cardiff. He lectures full-time and practises part-time (practising during academic holidays). His background is the family Bar (called 2007 [Gray's Inn], pupillage 2007 [9 Park Place], tenancy fulltime 2008 2015 [9 Park Place]) and when in practice conducts mainly public children law proceedings. He teaches on a number of modules at Swansea University, including family law relating to parents and children. (He taught at Cardiff University from 2015 - 2019 [including a family law module]).
