About the author

Rebecca Austin is Senior Lecturer at the School of Teacher Education and Development at Canterbury Christchurch University. Ms Justine Earl has been a teacher educator for over two decades, as an advisory teacher and as a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education.  Over her time as a university tutor, Justine has been a Faculty Lead for Partnerships and a Programme Director for the PGCE Primary part time route.  Justine also worked on the Teach First programme, supporting participants in the classroom, guiding their academic work and delivering professional development in English.
