The title "Discipline and Senses" brings together in a single theme the artist''s profound intellectual experiences and the studies he carried out over the course of almost fifty years, from the 1970s to today. Berger''s approach is based on the ethical, not just aesthetic, centrality of the subject of the photograph. It is a remarkable and probably unique journey into great contemporary photography.
