About the author










Jacqueline King is a Registered Nurse with 26 years of nursing experience. She has worked as a Critical Care Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit for the last 14 years of her career. Nursing has given Jacqueline the opportunity to ful¿ ll her passion and love for caring for her patients and their families. In 2019, Jacqueline was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. During her recovery, as she spent time with her grandchildren, Jacqueline discovered her talent for writing children's books. Jacqueline regards this talent as a gift from God. She has always had a passion for health promotion and disease prevention. With this goal in mind, Jacqueline embarked on an exciting new journey to educate children about the human body, disease processes, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
