Man is a social being and without society, we cannot think of man's existence. Sociology is a science of social activities and is very wide discipline. It involves the interaction between humans and the groups in the society. It is concerned with social systems and structures also. Study of sociology is very important as it provides information to the young people to develop their ability to think positively about the society. This is basically a subject of art and humanities but actually it studies the society in a scientific way. It improves our understanding of the society and enhances power of social action and capacities. The necessity for the study of sociology is especially more in under-developing countries, as the sociologists are drawing the attention of economists about the social factors which have contributed to the economic backwardness of these countries.The economists have also realized the importance of sociological knowledge in analyzing the economic affairs of the countries.
