About the author

Peter Woods is Emeritus Professor at The Open University, UK. He has published widely in the areas of the sociology of education, educational ethnography, and qualitative research methods.
Pat Sikes is Emeritus Professor of Qualitative Inquiry at the University of Sheffield, UK. She is particularly interested in auto/biographical narrative approaches and research ethics and has published widely in these areas.
