This book presents various processes in paper industry and its instrumentation and control aspects. While there are some instrumentation and measurement available in subprocesses like digestion, multiple effect evaporation, brown stock counter current washing, multi- stage bleaching, paper machine wires, drying, recovery furnace operation and caustizing, little attention have been paid in lime kiln, material retention during formation of paper and paper machine, approach flow system including headbox.

Dr. P K juneja is presently working as Professor and DRC chairman in ECE department at GEU, Dehradun where he joined in year 2004. He completed P.hD., M.Tech. and B.Tech. from IIT roorkee, DAVV Indore and MJPRU, Bareilly respectively.
