Occlusion in Fixed Prosthodontics

A Prosthodontic treatment is incomplete without providing a perfect dental occlusion to the patient. The purpose of good occlusal practice is to reduce the risk of damage occuring to the prosthesis as well as to the oral tissues. A number of considerations should be kept in mind while treating the patients for occlusal rehabilitation. Accurate occlusion is essential to the long term success of dental treatment.

About the author

Dr. Mukti Goel (Prosthodontist, Gold Medalist) successfully completed her Graduation in 2012 and Post-graduation in 2016. During her Graduation, she recieved IDA Scholarship Awards. She was a Research Volunteer in ICMR project. She also recieved Best Paper and Best Table Clinic award during her Post-Graduation.
