About the author

Vladislav Inozemtzev is professor of economics at the Moscow State University and Director of the Moscow-based Centre for Post-Industrial Research. His particular fields of interest include economic history, sociology, history of economic doctrines. He is the author of three major works: Contribution to the Theory of Socio-Economic Formation (also translated into French and published in France), Essays of History of Socio-Economic Formations and Beyond the Limits of Economic Society. He has also published some 60 articles. In 1997 alone, Russian academic journals published 11 articles by Professor Inozemtzev.
