Diskurstraditionen sind ein Kernkonzept historischer Pragmatik, die Sprachgeschichte als Kulturgeschichte erforscht. Im Zentrum stehen Traditionen, die in altspanischen Texten die Gestaltung von Fragen und Antworten im Gespräch anleiten. In Engführung mit linguistisch-philologischen Studien wird ein Modell der (historischen) Pragmatik entwickelt, das universelle Prinzipien und Traditionen des Sprechens in ihren Interaktionen systemhaft erfasst.

Discursive traditions are a key concept in historical pragmatics, which investigates linguistic history as cultural history. This volume focuses on traditions in Old Spanish texts providing instruction on the the forming of questions and answers in conversation.
