The prevalence of chronic non-specific neck pain is 46% in college students. Chronic non-specific neck pain is a mechanical neck pain which is caused due to overuse or microtrauma to the upper trapezius. There are various treatments for non-specific neck pain like electrotherapy, stretching. INIT helps in deactivating trigger points, reducing pain, reduces tone in the muscle and relaxes muscle. Also there are hardly any studies done on immediate effect of INIT on pain and cervical ROM in college students with chronic non-specific neck pain. Thus the present study was conducted.
