This paper has compiled the opinions and positions of various experts on mediation in child and adolescent maintenance matters, by applying the DELPHI technique. From a practical perspective, this research qualitatively exposes the opportunities and obstacles that this mechanism may have in the face of the current problem of non-payment of alimony. Similarly, this work compiles aspects of the theory of transformative mediation and its future importance in the relationship of the parties involved in these conflicts. Finally, the conclusions obtained allow the reader to know what is necessary for the suitability of mediation in this problematic, in the context of the pandemic.
