The study on the recrudescence of debris flows following rainfall and seismic activity in the western basin of Lake Kivu was conducted in the village of RAMBIRA, a part of the rift in the west of Lake Kivu, the most affected by landslides, earthquakes and associated erosive phenomena. The aim of this work is to establish a certain correlation between rainfall and seismic activities, and even the environment.
