Removal of organic compounds using agricultural fibers from water - Remediation of wastewater from chlorophenol using agricultural wastes as adsorbents

Phenolics are presented in numerous industrial effluents of petroleum refineries, petrochemicals, plastics, operations of coke and pulp, paper and wood production, pharmaceuticals, paints.In this book, we evaluated agricultural wastes produced in huge amounts for remediation of wastewater contaminated by 2-chlorophenol. The adsorption process parameters were determined including temperature, pH, amount of adsorbents, concentration of pollutant, and treatment time.and through this study, we can determine which one of agricultural waste were used is more powerful than others, and which parameter enhances its sufficiency
