About the author
Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is a shelter for farmed animals that regularly takes in, or works to place, animals that were victims of cruelty and neglect and provide them with clean barns, nourishing food, veterinary care, and love. Today the sanctuary is home to over 370 rescued residents, including sheep, chickens, cows, ducks, goats, pigs, rabbits, turkeys, a goose, and a llama. It was founded outside of Woodstock, New York, in 2004 and in 2015 moved to High Falls, New York, where it continues to thrive today.
