CHRISTOPHER JOBY is Professor in Dutch Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznä, Poland, and Visiting Scholar at the Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. His research focusses on the intersection of the Dutch language and culture and other languages and cultures in a historical context.
