2007: the year of one of the biggest financial crises in history, which alone was responsible for 50 million people falling below the poverty line. Public opinion then discovered the extent of the immorality of global financial institutions. Even if today the spectre of the crisis seems distant, investment banks have never made as much profit as in recent years. On another front, the European Union is still struggling to find agreements to curb billions of dollars in annual tax evasion. At a time when global growth remains at half-mast and austerity policies are still hitting the most fragile economies hard, this subject remains more than ever topical and can lead us to ask ourselves the following questions: Is it still possible to reconcile all economic agents with the world of finance? Can there be a balance between all these different actors or an alternative model that can satisfy them? It is from this angle and through a bibliographic analysis of numerous financial practices from 2007 and beyond that I have attempted to answer this question.
