About the author










Doug Burleigh has been on the frontlines of ministry for Jesus for over 50 years, serving on Young Life staff for 25 years (the last five and a half years of which he served as national president), and the past 25 years with The Fellowship in Washington, D.C. Throughout the years, he has led over 65 "Jesus Conferences" for young people in all 15 nations of the former Soviet Union and every region of Russia. Doug holds a B.A. in Political Science and Russian from Willamette University, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington, and an M. Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been married to the former Debbie Coe for 46 years; they have four grown children and 16 grandchildren and make their home in Arlington, Virginia.
