About the author










Marjorie Lister is Honorary Senior Visiting Research Fellow in Political European and Development Studies at the University of Bradford, UK. She formerly taught at the Universities of York and Manchester in the UK, and at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Maurizio Carbone is Lecturer in the Department of Politics at the University of Glasgow, UK. He formerly worked for the European Commission in Brussels.
