Live Well: My Ukrainian Upbringing and Other Stories is a collection of short stories and memoirs that focus on the author's Ukrainian heritage growing up in Saskatchewan, Canada. The book is filled with photographs of cultural significance written by award winning Marian Mutala, an important literary figure in Saskatchewan.
About the author
Marion Mutala has a master's degree in educational administration and taught school in the K-12 system for 30 years. She has a passion for the arts and loves to write, sing, play guitar, travel and read.
Marion is the author of the national bestselling and award-winning children's books: Baba's Babushka: A Magical Ukrainian Christmas; Baba's Babushka: A Magical Ukrainian Easter; Baba's Babushka: A Magical Ukrainian Wedding; and Kohkum's Babushka: A Magical Métis/ Ukrainian Tale. She is also the author of Grateful, The Time for Peace is Now; Ukrainian Daughter's Dance (a poetry collection); More Baba's, Please!; and My Buddy, Dido!
