Conflicts is an inevitable and recurrent fact of life. Every effort should be directed towards its prevention, management and resolution as it manifests. If not, its destructive tendencies can be better imagined than seen. Worse, still, conflict drains the energy, manpower and material resources of warring communities, even as they exist in very pitiable conditions characterized by hunger, poverty, illiteracy, poor and unimaginably living conditions.Despite the colossal amount of human and material resources expended on global peace and conflict management by various nations, states, local governments and communities, instead of inter-communal crisis diminishing, they are rather becoming more virulent and destructive. This book is a by product of the authors experience as a victim of inter-communal conflict; community influencer, mediator and researcher. Thus, the thrust of this book has become vital in the light of the herculean challenges posed by the prevalence of intercommunal conflicts in our society and the author's desire to make documented contribution to the realization of peaceful co-existence in our various communities /ruralities across the globe.
