At a time when the war against plastic is going global. Morocco, during the COP 21 in Paris, sounded the alarm causing public awareness of the need to protect the environment and should have been a model in the fight against plastic that pollutes landscapes and oceans. In this context, before the organization of the COP22 in Marrakech, Morocco banned the manufacture, sale and use of plastic bags, July 1, 2016, to resist against this scourge that pollutes our environment. To this end, this book helps to explain the evolution of plastic and their use in different sectors, and subsequently, to analyze the effects of legal and fiscal reforms on the Moroccan plastics sector to optimize plastic waste, fight against the informal and move towards new niches of green growth.
