A transnational collection of pandemic poetry and paintings that, among other things, compares India to Scotland. Bashabi was struck by the lines of villagers going home at the start of lockdown which reminded her of the lines of refugees during the Partition period of India's history. We have all experienced a partition this year.

About the author

Vibha Pankaj is an Edinburgh artist. Born in India, she has lived in Scotland for over 20 years. Her art reflects the landscapes of her feelings and memories – both real and imagined – from her childhood to the present – from Himalayas to Scottish hills – from everlasting benevolence of nature. She uses colour and texture to create these narratives.

Summary

A transnational collection of 'Pandemic Poems' and paintings that, among other things, compares India with Scotland. Vibha's paintings go hand in hand with Bashabi's evocative poetry.
