This builds a motivating case for Part 5, which helps the reader set and achieve their own challenge, with suggestions for how to find time for exercise in their busy lives.

The final chapter draws together a list of ten principles aimed at helping the reader to choose and succeed in their own challenge. Mike Dales is devoted to helping people get outdoors to share his passion for the countryside, as well as the physical and mental health benefits from taking outdoor exercise. Mike is a keen runner, hillwalker, cyclist and skier, and is based in rural Perthshire.
