About the author

The systems, processes, training, and attention to personal needs and requirements of residents under his care are what have propelled the growth of 16+ homes in the Seattle Metro area. Chris’ enthusiasm for bringing this alternative to the traditional institutional model of assisted living to a wider market is the driving force behind this book.
Stephen Morris, MD, MPH, started his professional career in education, ecology, and international development before moving onto medicine, always with the intention of combining it with public health. His clinical specialty is Emergency Medicine, and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Global Health at the University of Washington’s Schools of Medicine and Public Health, respectively.
Michael Hearl has teamed up with Christian for the past five years in building the marketing and financial cornerstones of the Adult Family Home business, bringing his experience in both the ministry and real estate development worlds. Michael is intent upon working alongside families who carry a keen sense of the importance of being good stewards of family resources while providing the best possible care for loved ones.
