About the author

Jennifer Cameron is a native Rhode Islander who spent her summers roaming the beaches of Point Judith and Block Island. Her love for the Ocean State and its history is matched only by her love for stuffies, Del's lemonade, and a late night visit to Haven Brothers. Jenn earned her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts and has her bachelor's in film from Boston University. She is a long-time editor and author who also publishes under her married name, Jenn Bailey.

About the author of the adult Haunted America book from which the children's Spooky America book was adapted: John T. Brennan is a writer, photographer, and tour guide for the Ghost Tours of Newport company's Scoundrels of Newport tour and the Carved in Stone Cemetery tour. His articles and photographs have been published with the West Greenwich Gazette, the News Print, Night Beat and Medium, the Newport Daily News, Newport Life magazine and Pineapple Post. Brennan has also been featured on the Travel Channel's Secrets of Haunted New England series.
