The book, Voter Apathy and Democratic Consolidation in Nigeria: History and Dynamics is a discourse that provides an apt historical analysis of voter non-enthusaism in Nigeria with emphasis on its dynamics, exacerbating factors and effects on democratic process. In illustrative sense, the book argued that the crises of voter apathy (occurring in voter alienation and voter distrust) in African most populous country is ostensibly a reflection of its unstable politics and governance to underline the symbolism of its democracy below substance. The book further established adverse multifarious effects of voter apathy in the process to strengthen democratic practices in the country.
