Education is the basic need for the development of any society. This is an important tool which is useful for everyone. It is the demand of the time that every person has the right to be educated. It is because of education that the world is becoming a global village so man has enriched this world with his educated intelligence. Education has its impacts on every stage of life although the distribution of educated people throughout the world is not the same. Some societies are touching the limits like in the developed world and some have a very low percentage of educated people. There are so many reasons behind this dilemma of unequal distribution of literate people, among which planning of educational facilities is the most significant. This work is about the spatial distribution of education facilities mainly primary schools distribution in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam.
