Dr. Lissarette Nisnevich is a developmental psychologist, educator, and advocate for autism awareness and acceptance. With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, she has dedicated her life to creating inclusive spaces where neurodiverse children can thrive. As the mother of a son with autism, Dr. Nisnevich brings a deeply personal perspective to her work, combining professional expertise with the raw, emotional journey of parenting a neurodiverse child. Dr. Nisnevich is the founder of The Nisnevich Institute for Neurodiverse Empowerment, where she champions education and advocacy for families navigating autism and other developmental differences. She has also written and illustrated a bilingual children's book, Eldie Makes New Friends/Eldie Hace Nuevos Amigos, which celebrates diversity and friendship. When she's not writing, Dr. Nisnevich enjoys exploring nature, creating art, and spending time with her family by the beach.
